We do everything we can to ensure you have a fun and rewarding learning experience. In addition to our regular training courses we offer winter training programs, exclusive corporate events and yacht charters. 

RYA training is forward thinking and designed for whatever level of skill, professionalism and knowledge you want to achieve. We have been around for over 130 years, but our approach is fresh and up to date. RYA courses never stop developing to take into account the dynamic world of boating.

SHOREBASED: The shorebased scheme teaches the theory of navigation and seamanship in courses of sixteen or forty hours duration plus home study; and provides one day courses for the theory and practice of; VHF radio operation, first aid , radar, sea survival  and diesel engine maintenance.

PRACTICAL COURSES:  Practical courses take place at sea, usually on a five day courses on board a cruising yacht operated by an RYA Training Center
